Despite Mayana having a couple of rough days while she recovers from her needles, we have managed to have a few happy moments with her…

Trying out her new bouncer! It plays music and vibrates, and has a cute giraffe, elephant and rattle on the bar that attaches over the top.

Chilling out. Papa lies like this too, and Mayana usually sleeps this way when she’s not wrapped.

Bubble bath with Papa!

Mayana has been having baths in the big bath with one of us. Today, Papa put her baby soap in while the bath was running, resulting in lots of bubbles. Mayana thought it was very funny when Papa blew the bubbles off his hand toward her. She LOVES the big bath because she can kick and splash a lot. Video proof to come!

Snoozing on the floor while I was getting ready for uni. She did have her eyes clothes until the flash went off for the photo.

I know it's a bit blurry but this expression totally cracked me up. It was mid-cry when I was trying to capture that cute little frown which I mentioned in this post. This isn't the frown I referred to though, just a funny face.

Mayana is enthralled by this cool new toy given to us by a uni friend. It's a sesame street ball which rolls around of its own accord and makes cool noises. She follows it around with her eyes and cracks up when it stops.

Mayana got bored when Pete and I were mattress shopping. Everyone at Harvey Norman was SOOOOO clucky, especially the lovely lady who helped us who has just become a grandmother for the first time. She hasn't got to meet her grandson yet because he was born late, and she had to come home for work. She was supposed to be a birth support partner! She was very sad about it, but enjoyed clucking over Mayana!

Mayana does Shakespeare!

We took Mayana to the Shakespeare Festival in Queens Park which our uni puts on every year. It's an evening show, and this year's was "The Tempest". It was FANTASTIC! Mayana was such a good girl, she was soooo mesmerized by the lights and noise in the first half, I swear she was watching the play - following the actors across the stage and everything.
She fell asleep during intermission, and slept through most of the second half, with a couple of peaks to check what was going on when it got a bit noisy.

It was cold in Queen's Park!! We used our little pop-up tent that Kami gave her, with her lambskin in it. Worked a treat, and no worries about people accidentally stepping on her walking through the people in the dark, because they could see her bed easily!

Our gorgeous girl loves to give us big grins. She is *so* close to giggling. She also has a ticklish chin like her Mama.

The three of us went for a big walk in an attempt to get Mayana to have a bit of a sleep in the afternoon... she doesn't sleep well when it's hot. I've been finding my "hippy" sling a bit more comfortable for my back than my safari sling, and we have discovered that Mayana likes it more if she's upright. She managed to pop out a foot, a leg and an arm during our walk yesterday (don't worry she wasn't anywhere near all of her popping out :P )
